It's all new to me!!

Hi everyone, my name is Sarah and I am a new mum - I have a 6 month son named Thomas and have just been reading the other 'newbie' messages - I feel ancient in comparison as I am 37 this month. The older Thomas gets the more isolated I feel as the few good friends I have do not have young children and all work. I have always worked full time (since I was 20) and in hospitality so I am used to a very social workplace. I ran a coffee shop in Morayfield for nearly 3 years and so now I miss the company/customers. I figured that this forum may be a way to make a few new friends so if there is anyone who wants to make friends with a very tired (mostly because I'm nearly 40!!!) mum I would love to hear from you. I hail from the UK and have lived in Narangba for 3 years since arriving in Oz, my hubbie is a chef which is great for him but doesn't help me much as he works from 8am - 10pm in Buderim.My e-mail address is shursey@aapt.net.au and I would love to hear from anyone who wants to get out and about or meet for a cuppa and a chat sometime.
