The Pregnancy Pocketbook

The Pregnancy Pocketbook is a record about your pregnancy that is just for you and yours to keep. It is designed for you to fill out during your pregnancy, and to use when you meet with your doctor and your midwife.

The Pregnancy Pocketbook provides up-to-date information at your fingertips and all in the one place, including guidelines for keeping active, what to eat, thinking about breastfeeding and healthy pregnancy weight gain. It's also a good way to keep track of how your pregnancy is going and who you need to see for help.

Included in the Pregnancy Pocketbook is a weekly guide of what to expect at different antenatal appointments, and tools to let you compare your pregnancy with recommended guidelines and to monitor your progress.

The Pregnancy Pocketbook is given out at your first appointment at Caboolture hospital antenatal clinic. You can carry the Pregnancy Pocketbook with you at all times, so that all of your pregnancy information is quickly at hand.

MobileMums - helping mums get into exercise

MobileMums provides ongoing support for you to reach your exercise goals. We have a free one-on-one consultation with you to discuss how we can make it easier for you to exercise, and then we send individualised SMS to your mobile phone to help keep you on track. You can also nominate a support person (partner, friend or family member) to help you through the MobileMums program. Your support person will receive SMS too, to let them know how you're going and how they can help you to be more active.
MobileMums provides constant support and encouragement for women, offers tips on where and when to try different types of exercise, helps monitor your exercise goal and gives you the chance to ask questions or seek advice. We have already had a group of women in Caboolture try MobileMums and we are waiting to see when we can offer this program to another group of women. If you are interested in being a part of Mobilemums, contact us.
