The Health Professionals listed on this page are dedicated to helping women in Caboolture who are pregnant or have a little one under 12 months of age.

Each Health Professional listed below has attending the specific training workshop they are listed under. The workshops were designed to provide them with up-to-date information, skills and resources to help women adopt a healthier way of life.

Health professionals skilled in assisting you to use the PREGNANCY POCKETBOOK

GPs and practice nurses from the surgeries listed below have been trained by a member of the CABOOLTURE mums & little ones team to support women who are using the Pregnancy Pocketbook during their pregnancy.

They were introduced to the content of the Pregnancy Pocketbook, including familiarising themselves with activities within it.

They now know how to use the Pregnancy Pocketbook to:

• assess your dietary, exercise, and smoking habits,
• assist you in meeting diet, exercise, and smoking cessation recommendations during pregnancy, and
• improve communication between all of the healthcare providers you may see.

They have also been invited to attend ongoing training during 2007 and 2008 to learn more about helping women follow healthy lifestyles during pregnancy.
